How to delete a return after placing the order to file. It keeps rejecting my file so I'm going through a physical tax specialist.

If you have already filed your return, you cannot cancel it and get a refund. We don't charge an e-filing fee. You were charged a tax preparation service fee. You can amend your return if it is rejected.  After you click Transmit Return Now, your e-file goes to pending status where it will stay until it is rejected or accepted by the government.

You have the option of either fixing the rejection and trying to e-file again, or filing a paper return instead.
