If my wife is covered under my HDHP health insurance plan, does she report that as her coverage too in a Married Filing Jointly scenario?

I entered in all my information for HDHP plan and my HSA contributions, but then it wants to know my wife’s information. She just started working again after several years unemployed. She does not have a health insurance plan separate from mine, though.

Since she is covered under your Family plan and does not have separate HDHP coverage in her name, her coverage would be 'None' when going through the HSA section of your return.

The reply provided by @AnnetteB6 is incorrect.  You should select Family for each month that your wife was covered by this plan and had no disqualifying coverage such as Medicare.

Since there is only one HSA account to consider, the directions shared by dmertz will give you a message onscreen stating that your wife's coverage has lapsed due to a disability.

When this happens, you need to go back to the question about her coverage and answer that her coverage was 'none'.  That is because the HDHP health insurance was in your name only, even though she was covered under your plan.

If she had her own HDHP coverage and her own HSA under her name, then following the directions shared by dmertz would be correct unless she had self-only coverage in her name.

"Since there is only one HSA account to consider,"

I don't see that stated.  Also, it's rather lame to have to falsely answer None to accommodate the persistent bug in TurboTax where TurboTax incorrectly determines that there has been a lapse in coverage that results in a penalty.  How can TurboTax even conclude that there was a lapse in coverage if all 12 months show family HDHP coverage (if it's the case that there was family coverage for all 12 months of the year)?

Because your wife is covered by the family HDHP plan she is eligible to contribute to an HSA.  If you did not contributed the family limit to your HSA, your wife is eligible to contribute the remainder of the family limit to her HSA as long as she was covered in December.  Also, if your wife is over age 55, she can contribute the her catch-up contribution to her HSA.  However, these contributions can only be reported in TurboTax if you tell TurboTax that she has family HDHP coverage.  If None is selected for each month, TurboTax will erroneously indicate that your wife's contribution limit (without regard to your contributions) is $0.
