Unfortunately, once that information was added it did change your return to owing the $102 instead of receiving the $1,600. This does mean that you will not be receiving the $1,600.

Since it was an amendment to your taxes and you paid the IRS the $102, you will still receive the $1,600. This is because when you file an amendment, the calculation only calculate for that amendment and not for everything.
If you had not paid right away and had sent in the amendment. If it had gotten to the IRS before your refund was sent back to you, you would then get a refund of $1,498. This is because they would have taken what is due from your return.
