Yes. Your out-of-pocket pharmacy and laboratory costs are allowable medical expenses. However, you must itemize deductions to claim these expenses. And for 2017 and 2018, medical expenses are only deductible to the extent that they exceed 7.5% of your Adjusted Gross Income (AGI). If, for some reason, you do not want to separately identify THOSE charges you can just put them in as other medical expenses.  The detailed categorization is for your documentation.  It doesn't get sent to the IRS or anything.  Just the total medical expense does.
