it should be under your account transcript if you see any numbers generated then that means that they are still processing your fileif not you just have to wait a little bit longer until you see the legendary 846 code showing the exact date and Amount of your refund
Your in the books for sure you might have to give it alil time Id keep checking the irs web portal that information is more valid than T.T it's directly from the source your account transcripts go through alot of changes before your money is sent to you dates might change along the way aswell but when you see the tax code 846 along sode any amout or dste on your account transcripts your in the green for sure
Yes you are still waiting on state. In my experience it usually will arrive a week or 2 after federal. But just keep your eye out, it could come sooner. Turbo tax should notify you.
May I ask, when did you file?
I was accepted on the 24 of January and it’s still saying my information isn’t recognized on irs where’s my refund!
I was accepted on the 24 of February and it’s still not showing up on the where’s my refund site after typing in all my information it says it doesn’t recognize my information!?
Go by what is on the IRS Where's My Refund site, not by the email. Once your return is filed, TurboTax has no control over the processing of your return or the release of your refund.
Due to PATH Act, the IRS holds refunds for EITC/ACTC customers until March 3.
Here are a couple FAQs to track your refund:
When will I get my federal tax refund?
How do I track my state refund?
Why does Where's My Refund say "approved" but TurboTax still says "accepted"?
Why do some refunds take longer than others?
What if my IRS refund is taking longer than 21 days?
Did anyone with the child tax credit or the earned income tax credit get a direct deposit or direct deposit date? because the irs says those refunds wont be processed until after February 15th
You got your taxes when was your refund accepted ?
@christinavescuso I don't think it's generated, I received one yesterday and it stated my refund should be in my account by end of the day and when I went to bed last night it was in there. I paid the $25 for the 5 day early deposit deal that TT was offering and when I just checked my refund status on the IRS website it stated that my refund was approved and would be deposited February 10th, so I definitely got mine 5 days early!
Thats also untrue because I got the email and its been over 72hrs and I have not received anything. I've also got my transcripts and it says 0 for everything. The where's my refund thing doesn't even say approved yet
I checked my transcript i filed 1/24/2025 processing day is February 17th
@CatinaT1 this may be my last year using TT because the 5 days early pop up popped up after I said I wanted the rapid advance (so it was misleading and clicked by mistake). And this in my opinion is a way for TT to get money especially if you’re saying it’s beyond TT’s control over our returns once filled. Then how can you offer 5 days early? Please stop offering this service because it’s misleading.
I helped my son with his taxes and when checked the box for the rapid advance the website automatically switched it to the 5 days early choice if I hadn’t had my experience with it switching on me he would’ve been in the same boat as me…waiting for his return. 😢
Hi everyone
So I called and spoke to turbo tax agent and she said mine was accepted and pending, ask me what that means no idea but I did tell the representative that they should not send generated emails it's is not right. My issue is that I received all the accepted emails on the 27th and to receive one that says "approved it's on the Wayne's frustrating because when I look on TRACK MY REFUND it still only says accepted ...not approved
It happened to me too last year. It didn't update until the day I got my refund
