If I file an extension for both federal and state due to an issue with my federal return that doesn't effect my state, can I go ahead and mail in my state return?

If I file an extension for both federal and state due to an issue with my federal return that doesn't effect my state, can I go ahead and mail in my state return?
Yes. You won't be able to e-file your state until your federal return is accepted. But you can certainly print out your state return and mail it.
