I am sorry, we do not have access to your Tax Returns on the Community Board, however, here is the IRS Tax Withholding Estimator that may help you with determining how to fill out your W-4.
Here is a new W-4 just in case you decide that you need change your W-4 with your employer so you don't have to pay additional taxes next year.
I wanted to change my dependents to 2 for federal and it only gave me single or head of household options each week for my paycheck. If something changed and I did head of household will I end up owing on taxes at the end of the year
It's hard to say for sure. What you could do is ask your payroll department to let you know how much less federal tax will be withheld from your pay if you switch your W-4 information. Then, multiply that amount by the number of pays you have left in the year, and see if that amount is more than your refund from 2019. If so, then you may end up owing taxes next year.
Thank you
Yes, it is possible that you will more taxes at the end of the year as less taxes are withheld when you indicate you will be filing as head of household.
Use the following steps to determine if your W-4 withholdings will cover your tax liability for the year. It is recommended that you have a current pay stub.
