My home interests will not help my refund and I want to just use the standard deduction but turbo tax is stuck and will not go forward. It wants my balance and interest?

I would delete that Form 1098 using the directions below:

1. Open your return. (To do this, sign in to TurboTax and click the Take me to my return button.)
2. Search for 1098 using the search in the upper right corner and then click the Jump to link in the search results.
3. This brings you to the 1098 summary screen. Click the trash can icon next to the Form 1098 and then answer Yes on the following screen.
