I won $4000 lottery ticket. how much will i have to pay in taxes, estimated? i don't normally file taxes as i receive social security survivors benefits ($906 a month) WV

As stated above, I live in West Virginia and the lottery ticket is claimed in West Virginia.  I'm 36 and get Survivor's Social Security disabled adult child benefits.

If your Social Security benefits and your lottery winnings are your only sources of income in 2016, you do not meet the threshold for being required to file a federal income tax return. There will be no federal income tax on your winnings, due to your low gross income. If federal tax was withheld, you will want to file a tax return to claim a refund of the amounts withheld.

For mor information. please see Table 1, on page 2 of IRS Pub. 501 Exemptions, Standard Deduction, and Filing Information. Be aware that Social Security benefits are not counted in determining gross income for purposes of determining your filing requirement.
