I was under the impression the State filing would be free if I completed before 3/16. Why was I charged $35?

I was under the impression the State filing would be free if I completed before 3/16. Why was I charged $35?

TurboTax does not charge for State filing , the state you file through charges a fee, it is not free with Deluxe version , its additional to file state taxes , each individual state charges a filing fee.
