Here's one possibility:
Did you choose to pay any TurboTax fees out of your Federal refund? And if so, has your refund been delayed for several weeks at the IRS, or was it reduced by the IRS? After a few weeks, TurboTax would want to be paid, so they would send emails asking one to pay the fees, or the account would be debited. If no payment or arrangement is made, TurboTax would then auto-debit the bank account.
