I was charged the 39.99 for having turbotax take money from my refund. I thought it was for other features. How to I get that $39.99 back?

How to I pay with a credit card to remove processing fee?   Feeling lied to.  It said doesn't itemize what I'm paying for.  I thought the 39.99 was for other features too.

Unfortunately, as I recently learned as well, there are two charges when you want the fees taken from your refund.  There is a filing fee of $39.99 AND the procrssing fee of another $39.99 to have the fees deducted from your refund. Essentially,  $80 taken from your refund total! There is no refund!

I got the same thing. I will never use turbo ta again. They didn't tell me about that. I found out when I got my check.

Very deceiving.  I've used TT since 2010.  Add zero customer service to a misleading fee..... kind of a dick move.

I have used turbo tax for several years and I have never paid an additional 39.99 I feel I was deceived and I will never use this product again nor will recommend this product to anyone.

H & R Block here I come. Won’t be surprised when the class action comes. Shame because I trusted them for over 5yrs to do my taxes.

It was in the fine print at the end. Initially I started going through the process. $40 was all it listed. $10 more than if I run to Sams or Costco and buy the software. And I went through all the steps till the end and saw an additional $40 to process. So $80. Nope. I’ve never had to pay more than cost of the software. Pretty certain of that.

I was also just charged double. 

They no where disclosed that fee. Therefore that charge is erroneous and should be refunded.
