My wife is an American citizen. I am here on H1B VISA. We file taxes jointly as a married couple. Can we use turbotax to file our taxes?

I've been on H1B since May 18 2016. Last year my wife and I filed jointly using H&R Block.

did you include a statement last year that you choose to be treated as resident alien for the entire year (you would have had to, sonce you were a dual status alien)?

I think so. H&R Block treated us as filing married jointly.

H/R Block employees often do not know all the rules when it comes to aliens, so I would check, just to be sure.

If you meet the substantial presence test, which is seems you do, you are a resident alien and can file a joint return with Turbotax. Last year you were a dual status alien (see comment above).
