I uploaded 1099-DIV directly from broker that shows the payer's FEID as 00-0000000. This causes error when trying to e-file my tax return in TurboTax. In prior yrs wrked.

I tried to delete and re-enter but that did not work either. Any idea how to make it work?

for a 1099-div all that's needed is the payor's name and the dividend info. the FEID/EIN is not.  so if may be necessary to manually enter the info

To delete a 1099-DIV in TurboTax Online, follow these steps:

1. Open or continue your return in TurboTax.
2. In the left menu, select Tax Tools and then Tools.
3. In the pop-up window Tool Center, choose Delete a form.
4. Select Delete next to the form/schedule/worksheet in the list.

5. Follow the instructions to confirm the deletion.
   Alternatively, you can enter your 1099-DIV manually and confirm to delete it. If you need to delete a duplicate 1099-DIV, you can also do so by scrolling to the duplicate and selecting Delete.
