Do you have a TurboTax Online account?

We'll help you get started or pick up where you left off.

I tried to file my tax return for 2023 today, October 31st 2024. TurboTax said efiling season has ended but it still efiled for me at the end. Question is, did it or not?

I have a refund due, no payment so I am not worried about any fees with the IRS. And I reside in Florida, no state income tax as well. So did the efile go through when I received an email from turbox tax saying my returns were transmitted. I need to know so I have to print out and mail them accordingly

Note: After October 31, 2024, you can't start, finish, or e-file new 2024 returns in TurboTax Online.

You should have received an email from TurboTax informing you that the tax return was transmitted.

After completing the File section and e-filing your tax return you will receive two emails from TurboTax. The first email when your tax return was transmitted and the second email when the tax return has either been accepted or rejected.

To clarify, I did receive an email from TurboTax saying that my returns sent and transmitted on October 31, 10:25am. And the EST Acceptance Date is November 2, 2024 Also, this is desktop version, not online.

My question is was it actually transmitted or was it a glitch with TurboTax and IRS shall have no record of my return whatsoever.

Also, since I am due a refund, deadline doesn't apply to me as I have till 2027 to file for refund.
