Do you mean that your refund for 2019 was different from what was filed, once you received it?
You should receive a letter from IRS or your State explaining the difference.
For your Federal Refund, check on their website for more details: Check my Refund Status. or you can call IRS at 1-800-829-1040.
If you are referring to your State refund, many states have similar information on their website. Here is a link to the State Departments of Revenue: State Departments of Revenue
Yes. After I applied the tax refund the total amount was $2,004. IL tax refund was $113 and $1,891was from the Langham which is my work place. After few days, I got emailed about there is one more step to process the tax refund, after that the amount is changed. It should be $2,004. $113 is disappeared.
You are looking at your Refund Meter, is that correct? If you filed both the federal and state you should be able to see both refunds add up to the correct total.
Please see the instructions below, on how to print your return after filing:
You need to download your tax return using Print Center and choose the option for all worksheets.
The tax refund is line 36 on IL 1040, and 21a of the Federal 1040.
