I still haven’t gotten my stimulus check yet and I’ve spoken with a journalist and they said that the fact that turbo tax is third party it could go into a dummy account.

The IRS can look at your 2018 or 2019 return to issue a stimulus check.  If they do not have a 2018 return then you may be waiting for them to finish processing 2019 before they will be able to use it to issue your stimulus check.

TurboTax has no control over your stimulus check, nor can TT track it for you or tell you when the IRS will issue it. Refer to the sites linked below:

You can call the IRS hotline at 1-800-919-9835 to get updates on your stimulus payment.

What your friend was talking about was filers who used a third party bank to withhold the TT fees from the federal refund then pass on the balance to you either on a pre paid debit card or to your bank account, whichever you had chosen on the last tax return.   If you did use this service then the third party bank was accepting the stimulus money and pushing it thru to you as previously directed.   If the method was invalid then the money was sent back to the IRS and you have to get it from them.

If you  did not use this service the stimulus check (if one was issued) should have been sent to you directly.

If you used the non-filer site, you will not be able to e-file a 2019 return after using the non-filer site.
