I bought deluxe w/ state. I got to end and still had to pay 24.99 to file state. I did not see a spot to enter my order number. What do I need to do to get my 24.99 back?

Deluxe gives you the ability to do the state return, but doesn't cover e-filing. You had an option to print the forms and mail them in. Costs the state more to process, but the tax software folks have a strong lobby. For e-filing, you're stuck with paying the $24.99.

Get to the page that says E-file your Federal return for FREE. Select File by Mail. On the next page select Print my state return .... On the Federal part select Do not print my Federal .... Why is it hard? They want the $24.99!
