I started my 2017 returns & now want to submit them, but am told need to purchase a cd /download "TTax for 2017". Could i just upgrade my subscription from free to paying

Will i be able to view the 2017 tax returns i didnt submit yet, if i upgrade my turbotax account from a free version to a plus or higher and pay for an account? Or do they only show me past taxe returns that i already filed with IRS, instead of purchasing the CD or download for 2017?

If you are wanting to file your 2017 taxes, you will need to purchase the CD or download for last year as TurboTax online is only available for this year's tax preparation.
