I sold on ebay but didnt get a form 1099k. I have kids and was thinking this would count towards the child tax credit/earned income. how do i report without form?

you probably have no profit but even if you did such sales are not income.

The selling activity would have to qualify as a business (self employment) to be earned income. The mere selling of your used household items is not business and almost never results in a profit. The sales price of the item you sell is not the income, it's the profit you make on the sale.
