I see I got a rejection in my turbotax account for 2017, but I did file with H&R block for the 2017 tax return, so is that why its showing as rejected on turbotax?

If you filed with HR Block first, then yes that would cause a rejection if you also tried to submit a return through TurboTax and it would show as a rejection in TurboTax even though you successfully filed it elsewhere.
