I received the reject code "FDI_8801_ErrorHold" for my fed return, but the AMT calc from 2018 seems right. Any idea what I can do?

the exact meaning is unclear.  all I can suggest is that you review form 8801 for 2019 and make sure all the numbers are correct.    many come from form 6251 for 2018.     did the IRS change your 2018 return or did you amend it?

Thanks very much, and I should have checked the Community before posting.   Clearly a number of folks have the same exact problem . . I will give them a few days to correct the form -- I hope they're on notice of the problem.
