I received my state and it doesn't match what turbo tax says why?

Your state will be mailing you a letter in a few weeks explaining the changes to your tax return that resulted in the lower refund.

The state will be sending you a letter about the adjustment and/or offset that they made. You might have made a data entry error, forgotten to claim some income, or owe back taxes.  The state does not notify Turbotax.
