I received and inheritance check from my fathers estate in PA, do I have to claim it on my state or federal taxes?

I live in PA  received an inheritance check from my fathers estate, who lived in PA also, do I have to report it on my state and or federal taxes?  If so where is it reported?

Is there an estate tax return being filed as well?   If so, there may be a Form K-1 that will be issued to you by the estate also...you may want to ask whomever is handling the estate if you nee to wait for any K-1 forms.
