See what Where's My Refund says.
Once your return is filed, TurboTax has no control over the processing of your return or the release of your refund.
Here are a couple FAQs to track your refund:
When will I get my federal tax refund?
How do I track my state refund?
Why does Where's My Refund say "approved" but TurboTax still says "accepted"?
Why do some refunds take longer than others?
What if my IRS refund is taking longer than 21 days?
AI was absolutely of no use. The suggested remedies by the "community" were not even relevant. The issue was finding someone to ask for help and I eventually found a phone number that got me to speak with a human, a real challenge. He was able to determine that the return was actually rejected because of the IRS-PIN issue. The remedy was to do a TT search for "IRS-PIN", except that there is no "search" option in the desktop version! He found the location of the IRS-PIN field by doing a Google search! You see, we had previously obtained ID.Me codes from the government to be used to prevent fraudulent tax returns. That PIN is 6 digits long and desktop TT form only allows 5 digits. Therein was the problem. Once we found where in TT that the correct, 6-digit IRS-PIN was supposed to be entered (thanks to Google), the return could be resent and it then was accepted.
These weren't the only issues we had, just the worst one. My wife got an 1099-NEC and her yearly K-1/trust statement. Correctly entering the required entry fields for them isn't possible. I have little confidence that our return was completed correctly. TT gets worse every year.
