I received a 1099-MISC as a result of tending a conference on Autism for my job as a teacher at the Round Rock Independent School District. How to report the 1099-MISC?
I had no personal expenses associated with this conference. TurboTax wants to associate this 1099-MISC with a Schedule C, but I have no Personal Business to file a Schedule C against.

You can report it as miscellaneous income.
o enter the income:
Click on Federal on the left hand side of the
screen in the black area
Click on Wages &
Income at the
top of your screen
Scroll down ( you may
need to click on All Income) to Less Common Income
Click on Show More
Scroll down to
Miscellaneous Income
Click on Start
Scroll down to Other
reportable income
and click Start
