Here is a link that may help.1099-B
Thank you, but that doesn't answer the main part of my question. I did put in the 1099-B in the place listed in the reply, however, my concern is it lists stock non-employee. I am an employee of the place the stock is from. Where does stock owned by an employee go when the action is cash in lieu on the 1099-B?
Here is how to enter your 1099-B.
When you go to enter your 1099-B, TurboTax will ask 'Do these sales include any employee stock? This includes ESPP, RSU, RS, NQSO, and ISO.'
These are types of stock you receive at a discount, and the discount is reported as compensation.
If your stock is none of those things, it is non-employee stock, even if you are an employee.
