I purchased another 2023 turbotax since I already used my 5 efile. But the program still says I already used my limit of 5 efile.

I used my 5 efile  so I purchased another turbo tax 2023.  It still says that I already used my limit.  How come?

For non-professionals, the IRS imposes a 5 return (of any 1 type) limit. buying that second copy will do no good. you won't be able to e-file any more 1040 returns this year.  If you purchase from urbotax contact about a refund. Purchaed from anywhere else and they can refuse to make a refund.
