I can logon to my account on the internet. but the 2023 turbotax I downloaded from Amazon is denying me access to the account to register my software--intuit should do better than this!

Well, after 2 hours talking with someone from Turbotax Customer Service, who was very kind and patient, I am no closer to being able to activate my desktop version of turbotax premier 2023.
After clearing the cache on my Chrome browser, I can no longer access my intuit account on that browser, although it is accessible through Firefox and Edge. After clearing cache and allowing cookies and popups, Chrome is now asking for my password, and then telling me: "We are unable to sign you in. There may be an issue with your system configuration. Make sure your browser has Javascript and cookies enabled. If the problem persists you can clear your cache and cookies and then restart your computer, or try using a different browser. Try again. For more help, please contact customer support and reference code 25625." I have tried changing settings in Chrome and clearing the cache again, but can't seem to get it to work. Moreover, the Desktop software is still giving the same "Access is denied" message when I give it my email, and it never allows me to enter a password.
I've tried re-downloading the software with and without a VPN from Thailand, with no change in software behavior. I'm guessing the problem is somewhere in my Windows settings related to cookies and popups, but can't seem to find anything. Any suggestions are very welcome. I've been using turbotax from Thailand for over ten years now, mostly without a VPN, so I don't think that is the problem. I have multiple (more than 5) older versions installed on my desktop, but don't think that is a problem either.
I would greatly appreciate any suggestions that would allow me to install turbotax.
I've tried setting Edge and firefox as default browsers, but that doesn't seem to change anything. Any ideas on how to change the settings that are used by the desktop software when logging into intuit?
Now, I was able to logon and download the desktop turbotax to my wife's Win 11 machine and it installed and activated fine, so now it seems to be a problem with the Win 10 version--my guess is it's related to some Win 10 security deficiency--I hope the intuit software engineers will be able to address this issue--or point to an easy solution.
I would like to use this software on my Win 10 desktop(which I can't upgrade as the processor is too old)--any ideas out there?
Try reinstalling TurboTax using the step-by-step guidance in the TurboTax Help article Reinstall TurboTax for Windows 8.1/10/11.
Hopefully this will help resolve the issue.
I've spent too much time on trying to resolve this issue. I'll just keep using the program on my wife's Win 11 machine, although it is a lot less convenient. I tried everything recommended regarding deleting cookies and turning off antivirus and firewalls, but no change. I can't logon to intuit from Chrome or from the desktop Turbotax app: "access is denied", but can from Firefox and Edge.
My computer works fine with all my other software, and I've never encountered trouble like this before. Did Intuit change something in the Win 11 build for 2023 that might not work with Win 10?
Still open for ideas, but not willing to completely reinstall Win 10 and/or all of my Desktop software just to run Turbotax.
I am going to suggest these steps below. I think you might be having an issue other users have experienced with installing when using Windows 10.
Changing the environment values did not help at all. Still cannot login to intuit on the desktop software, can't through chrome, but can through firefox to reply to this.
I am becoming one very, very dissatisfied turbotax customer!
