I owe federal taxes. I e-filed and it was accepted by the IRS. Do I have to include a printed 1040 form when I mail in my form 1040-V payment voucher?

No, you do not need to include a printed 1040 with your 1040-V.

In addition, you can pay online with no paper forms.  Follow the link below for more information.

I'm glad I was able to find this answer to the very same question I have/had

(and not sweating it at the 11th hour).

The reason this question comes up is because of Form 1040-V Payment Voucher instructions:

Use this voucher when making a payment with Form 1040,

Do not staple this voucher or your payment to Form 1040.

Recommend Turbo-Tax at least address the ambiguity with the TT-Filing Instructions, 'What You Need to Mail'.

Were you able to get everything completed on the return? @User1974
