I am trying to figure out what to put for the occupation field of my 2020 tax file. Do I put what I did for my occupation in 2020 or what I am currently doing for work in 2021? I am a beginner at this stuff

Your occupation is what you did to earn your 2020 income.

It really doesn't make a difference to your tax return ... usually you put what you are currently doing.
