I never sale my hose in 2450-52 86th Street.. but why your softwere always ask me to fill the sale information? if not ,it is can not do E-file!?

I never sale my hose in 2450-52 86th Street.. but why your softwere always ask me to fill the sale information? if not ,it is can not do E-file!?

For some reason, the software believes you sold your house. 

You'll want to double check the home sale section and make sure your answers are correct. 

There are two ways to reach this section:

1) Log in and click "Take me to my return." In the upper right, click the Search button and type in "Home Sale" and press enter.  You should see "Jump To Home Sale" as the top result. Click that and you'll be taken to a question asking if you sold your main home. Once you answer this as "No" you shouldn't be asked about selling your house anymore. 


2) You can also get to this page by logging in, clicking "Take me to my return" and then in the top header clicking Federal Taxes > Income and Expenses (here you  may have to choose to "I'll choose what I work on")  > Less Common Income (towards the bottom) > Sale of Home


If this was a rental property, on Federal Taxes > Income and Expenses, scroll down to Rental Properties and Royalties to double check your answers there.
