I hope you are doing great. My fiance and I got engaged a few months ago and are not married yet. Now, we are wondering how to hold a home title but do not know the best action. Your response will be appreciated: 

- How will it affect paying taxes if married, being a domestic partner, or applying as an individual for the title?

It makes no difference on a tax return who is on the title of the home that is purchased since the purchase of a personal residence is not reported on a return.
