I need to reinstall TurboTax 2024 desktop but it won't reinstall

I purchased TurboTax Home & Business 2024 desktop, worked on my file then filed an extension.  Just now I tried to finish but I got an error saying my computer was missing something when I try to open it. So I deleted TurboTax 2024 and tried to reinstall it but gave me an error as well. The error on the install is "Some files are missing from the TurboTax setup. Please reinstall using new setup."

What the heck is a new setup?

How are you re installing it?  Did you download it again from your Intuit account?  You might need to check for any Windows updates.  Never heard of ...using new setup.   Oh, people are reporting there might have been a problem with the last TT update on Thursday Sept 11.

Maybe the manual patch will help.  If you can’t update your Windows program try doing a Manually update
