I need to know which address to use to file. My W2 states one thing and my ID another.

Use the address on your return that you would like the IRS to contact you if needed. The address on your W-2 should match what you report on the W-2 in the program since the IRS has a copy and they should match.

You should file using the address where you live, regardless of whether it is on your W-2 form.

If you split your time in more than one location, use the address where you want to get your mail.
