You can no longer finish your 2024 tax return in TurboTax Online. TurboTax Online is only for the current tax year, which is now 2025. To finish your 2024 tax return you have to use the desktop TurboTax software for 2024.

How do I finish a prior-year return that I started in TurboTax Online?

Tax returns for past years cannot be e-filed. You will have to print your 2024 tax return, sign it, and file it by mail.
