Im filing 2018 and 2019 taxes that not never got filed. I downloaded 2017, 2018 and 2019 turbo tax software to complete filing my taxes, i already finished the tax return for the 2018. But now i need to do 2019, My question is do i use he same software that i already downloaded or do i need to download it again and pay another 70.00 dollars?
When i click on file another return i cant tell if it's showing it to be 2019 tax file or if its just doing another 2018, can you help please.

That's a bit confusing because you started off by saying you already "downloaded 2017, 2018, and 2019 TurboTax software." If so, those are 3 separate programs, and I'm not sure why you are asking the question if you already have the 2019 software. Did you install it? Or did you only purchase one program and thought incorrectly that it covers all 3 years??? A software program is only for 1 specific tax year. Each tax year needs its own different software for the particular year. Did you only buy one software program? If so, for what year?
Each tax year's return needs its own software program specific for the particular year. I hope you prepared the 2018 return in the 2018 desktop software. The 2019 return has to be prepared in the 2019 desktop software.
Do NOT use the 2018 software to prepare a 2019 return!!
TIP: Since you already finished your 2018 return, you can transfer the *.tax2018 data file into the 2019 software when you start a new 2019 return. When you start a new return in the 2019 software, it should search for the *.tax2018 file, and when it finds it, it should ask you if you want to transfer it into 2019. If it doesn't find it, you can point TurboTax to the file location.
Prior returns cannot be efiled. They have to be printed, signed, dated, and mailed. I'd mail the different tax years separately to the IRS. Otherwise, if mailed in the same envelope, the IRS might lose something, or get some pages mixed up, or staple them together, etc. It's recommended to mail by a method that has tracking, such as certified mail, priority mail, etc.
Only the Federal returns go to the IRS. State returns are filed with the state tax agency.

Although you said you downloaded 3 years of TurboTax software, I'm starting to wonder if you only purchased one software product and incorrectly thought it would prepare returns for 3 years--2017, 2018, and 2019. That is NOT the case. As I explained above, you need to purchase separate specific software for each tax year. There is no product that includes multiple tax years.
Please confirm exactly what you purchased and for what tax year. If you prepared a 2018 return, it has to be prepared in 2018 software. A 2019 return has to be prepared in 2019 software.
