You can use TurboTax Business to prepare a 1041 for an estate (link below), but you probably would be well-advised to seek assistance from a tax professional to prepare the return (and related documents).
TurboTax Business is not available as an online product; it must be installed and run in a Windows environment (there is no Mac version). Further, TurboTax Business can only be used to prepare returns for entities; it cannot be used to prepare individual income tax returns (e.g. Form 1040).
My father's estate just closed May 2019. Can I use my 2018 TurboTax Business software to do this?
Yes if you have the Desktop Turbo Tax Business program on a Windows computer. But not in the Home & Business program.

You can absolutely use the 2018 version of TurboTax Business if the estate's fiscal year began in 2018 and ended in 2019 (the latter appears to be obvious).
You can also use the 2018 version if the estate's tax year is less than 12 months and begins and ends in 2019 and the 2019 1041 has not yet been released (which it will not be). However, you will need to print and mail the return because you will need to hand write the correct tax year on the 1041, K-1, et al.
thank you, very helpful
