You can get a transcript of your tax return for prior years by accessing this IRS link:

https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript

The requirements on IRS Link are case sensitive so be sure to enter your information accurately or else you ll be locked out. The other option is to call them and get transcripts faxed to you which is more time consuming but results may help.
