You didn't say what kind of verification code. There are several kinds, so I'll take a guess based on one common situation that some people encounter. Are you trying to receive the 6-digit email verification code you need when you go through the efiling process?
If so, check your email's spam/junk folder to see if the code is ending up there. If that's not the problem, you can go to your settings in your Intuit Account and may be able to verify your email address there if it's not verified.
