I’m STILL missing my dependent’s money from the first round of stimulus payments. She was less than a year old at the time of the first round and claimed on 2019 taxes

I’ve heard that it’s a widespread issue, and now that I read the statement that the second round of payments has been messed up, I want to ensure there’s a plan to get everyone the money they’re owed.

It sounds as if the IRS somehow didn't pick up the information about your daughter when they generated payments.  The IRS is not correcting payments already issued and advises taxpayers to claim these additional funds when filing the 2020 tax return.

You will claim the Recovery Rebate Credit by answering the two questions about the stimulus payments that will appear at the end of the TurboTax interview.

The questions are in the section Federal Review.

Once the information is entered you will see your refund increase or balance due decrease, and TurboTax will enter the amount of the credit on Line 30 of Form 1040 for you.
