Please keep in mind, though, that Injured Spouse Relief is completely determined by the IRS. While the idea is that they determine how much of the refund is based off of your income, since he carried this offset-able debt (a debt that the IRS can use your refund to pay for), only they will determine how much of the refund, if any, will be returned.
