I'm attempting to e-file my returns. Turbotax is requiring me to fill out form 8814. However, neither of my children meet the requirements at the top of the

Turbotax 2017 imported both my children from my 2016 return.  Neither of my children now qualify as dependents for 2017 tax year. When I go to e-file my return, Turbotax 2017 is requiring me to fill out form 8814, Parents election to report Child's Interest and Dividends!!!  Both of my children no longer meet several of the requirements at the top of the form:

Requirement 1: They are not under the age of 24 and no longer in college.

Requirement 4: Both my children had employment income.

Requirement 5: Both my children had gross income above $10,050.

Requirement 7: Both my children had federal income tax withheld where they work.

I have tried deleting both of my children as dependents from my federal return since they no longer qualify as dependents. However, Turbotax 2017 is still requiring me to fill out form 8814 and will not transmit my federal or state returns until I do.  Please tell me how to proceed.  Thank you.

Re-enter at Less common income / Child's income. Click update. Answer yes until you get to the summary screen. Then delete the child(ren) that were included.

I entered child's demographic info into the quick zoom 8814 form, then entered 0 (zeros) in all the fields on the form.  When the quick zoom form closed, and before clicking transmit, I switched from 'step-by-step' view to the 'form' view (Menu bar, View, Forms) found form 8814 and deleted it. I then switched back to 'step-by-step' view, clicked on the REVIEW tab and proceeded through the review and transmit steps.  The transmit then completed successfully.
