I 'm at the point of e filing using deluxe now telling me need schedule c. I have already paid for deluxe, filing fed, state and fed state taxes owed but program won't let me finish efiling

In case your tax situation requires upgraded version of Turbotax, you need to upgrade. 

In that case, if you already paid for lower version, you will be charged only the difference amount between the two flavors.
