I live in michigan, but my w2 comes from quebec cabada. im trying to entet thw postal code for my employer and it wont let me select a foreign country.

Did you see the W-2 entry where you first select the type of address your Payer has?

If you select "Foreign Address from the drop-down, you should be able to enter the Postal Code and continue with the interviews and e-filing.
