After MANY hours on the phone with TurboTax reps - who were all very nice, but unsuccessful in identifying a fix for my issue - I finally independently found a fix in a forum that worked for me. At the registration screen, I entered a nonsense address as follows: I put a random number and letters in the street address field, random letters in the city field, my actual state in the state field, and the first five digits of my actual zip code in the zip field. I hope this works for others as well and saves them the many hours I wasted trying to fix TurboTax's platform glitch.
