I keep getting emails saying that my tax return was denied but this site says they were accepted. Getting through to a real person is horribly difficult.

Ok ... either you had more than one account and the other account has issues  OR  more likely someone else has entered your email address on their account by accident and it confused why they are not getting any emails ... if you have successfully filed then ignore the worthless emails.
