Since you mention "sign out", I'll presume you are using Online TurboTax. If you are using Online TurboTax, you can go to the left column menu and scroll way down to the bottom of that menu to choose "Sign Out."
"I'm paying someone to help me with the TurboTax."
Are you using Live TurboTax, where you pay extra for on-demand help from a tax expert (CPA/EA) during return preparation and a review of your return before filing? If so, we can tell you how to contact your Live expert.

If that's the product you are referring to, then here's how to contact your live expert:

I don't understand what the rest of your situation is about finding out what your refund is. At the top of the screen there's a running tab of your refund that changes as you prepare your return, but it sounds like you're still preparing your return and having difficulty doing so ("I am not getting anywhere.") If you need to speak to the folks at general TurboTax Support, here's how.
Support hours are 5AM-9PM Pacific (8AM-12 Midnight Eastern), 7 days/week
FAQ: What is the TurboTax phone number?

Worked for me for my 2022 return - I just deleted the TY22 folder analagous to what you suggested. Intuit should incorporate this suggestion into their support database. As you can see, they have been risking losing some loyal customers.
Thank you KirEvse! I just tried to activate TurboTax 2022 Home & Business and it kept giving me an error. I had never had a problem activating TurboTax before...but I had recently upgraded to Windows 10 and I am guessing that might have cause the issue. Anyway, I had to rename the TY22 directory rather than the TY19 because, of course, I was trying to activate TurboTax 2022 not 2019. But it WORKED the first try. I really appreciate you taking the time to post this solution. It is a simple explanation/solution and it WORKS! Thank you so much.
