I just paid 89.99, for what i thought was going to let me file my 2016 taxes. can i do that through turbo tax? my order:TTWP1JZ25139429 order date:12-17-2017 please help

Looks to me like you just paid for an Online software package that can only be used for 2017 taxes. You can still use that for your 2017 tax return.....but Online software is shut down for 2016 taxes.

For 2016 taxes, you are now required to use the desktop software, that you download and install on your home computer. And then you prepare you 2016 taxes on that computer itself (NOT thru the Online browser).

E-filing of 2016 taxes has been shut down for over a month, so you will now have to print and mail file your 2016 Federal tax forms to the IRS, and State taxes to the state...
