I still haven’t received my refund and it’s been since the 23rd of January I know they said it would be a longer wait for the earned income child tax credit but how long will I be waiting before I receive it in my account

I filed on Jan 25th still havnt receieved my refund. Not even a date to say when I wud. Still saying being processed. And can't reach a live person to ask. Smh

Yes.   I do this every year. File for all my kids too. I efiled. My son got his back. Me and my other son have not

I put filed before the 29th of January and not received a refund. None of these numbers have gotten me to a live person. Is the IRS holding back on the refunds for some reason, or just the ones via Turbotax?

If you claimed refundable credits, the IRS may be reviewing your return...  The IRS may select random returns for review for any reasons.  Did you check the status of your refund to ensue the IRS does in fact have your return?

I they have received. I put in prior to January 29th. It has been 'processing" since then.

I called the irs And asked wut was taking so long. I was told it was put on hold to have me prove my identity. I sed why easnt I sent a letter? They sed they were waiting for me to call first. How was I supposed to know to call unless I got a letter? Good thing I did. Now they've sending me a letter with a phone number to call and a control number to give when I do. So I can verify my identity. Sed it will take an additional 9 weeks after I do. Ridiculous! Wuts the point in filing early just to be put at the back of the line? They r screwing everyone this year. If yours is late.. U better call. Don't wait for them, or u will be waiting forever!
